- Granular hire contract views — New panels were added in SitePad to clearly separate hire contracts by stage: Quotes, Bookings, Closed, and Cancelled. This gave the team better visibility and control across the full hire lifecycle.
- Enhanced scheduling information — Hire contracts now show both On Hire and Planned Off Hire dates, helping the operations team plan fleet utilisation and redeployments more efficiently.
- Task creation from notes — When adding a note in SitePad, users can now instantly create a related task, ensuring every customer conversation can be followed up promptly and tracked through to completion.
- Two-way note synchronisation — Notes created in SitePad automatically sync back to Syrinx, ensuring both systems stay aligned and all customer correspondence is centrally visible.
- Marketing contact management — A simple checkbox lets the team mark contacts as “Marketing Contacts,” keeping customer communication preferences in sync across both systems.
- Improved reporting accuracy — A fix to SitePad’s reporting ensured that site-level visits are now properly reflected in activity reports, giving management a complete picture of engagement.
- Consistent data across systems — Customer types and marketing source information now sync between SitePad and Syrinx, helping sales and marketing teams measure and refine their lead generation strategies.
These improvements brought the entire sales and hire workflow into one central, easy-to-use interface — from first contact through to hire completion.

A major advantage of the SitePad implementation was its advanced integration with Syrinx, the leading hire management system used by Star Platforms.
Through this integration, customer records, contacts, hire contracts, and site data now stay automatically synchronised between both systems. When a contract moves from quote to booking or is updated in Syrinx, those changes are instantly visible in SitePad.
This single source of truth eliminated double data entry, ensured teams were always working from the most up-to-date information, and created a smoother, faster handoff between sales and operations.
